Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what your rights are. It is written in plain English because that is how we would want to read it.
Who we are
NextMotion Technology Ltd is the company behind AutoGrip-T and the controller of the personal data described here. Company number 17528053, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: Flat 19 Enfield House, Stockwell Road, London SW9 9HB. Email info@nextmotiontech.co.uk.
This notice covers the website nextmotiontech.co.uk. It does not cover any later agreement between us and a club, which has its own terms.
What we collect
- What you type into the contact form: your name, your email address, who you are (a club, a player, a brand, press or something else), the club or organisation if you give it, your message, and the fact that you ticked the consent box, with the time you sent it
- Server logs. IONOS, the company that hosts this site, records the IP address, browser type and pages requested for every visit, as any web host does, for security and fault finding. We do not use these logs to identify anyone
- Abuse control. When you send the form, the server keeps a one-way hashed version of your IP address for up to one hour, so that one address cannot flood the form. The hash cannot be turned back into the address
- A safety copy. If the server cannot deliver your message to our mailbox, it keeps a copy in a protected folder on the server so your enquiry is not lost. We delete those copies within 30 days
What we do not do
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no social media buttons. It loads nothing from other companies' servers. We never sell personal data or pass it to anyone for marketing.
Why we use your data, and the legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry and follow it up with you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us, and the consent you give by ticking the box
- To keep the site and the form secure and working. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a safe website
- To meet a legal obligation, where one applies
Who sees it
The people named on our home page, who read and answer every message. IONOS SE, which hosts the site and the mailbox for us under a data processing agreement, and stores data in data centres in the UK or the European Union, which UK law treats as giving adequate protection. Professional advisers, only if a specific matter needs them.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact with you. If a working relationship follows, for as long as it lasts and the law requires afterwards
- The hashed IP address used for abuse control: one hour
- Safety copies of undelivered messages: 30 days at most
- Server logs: a short period set by IONOS
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to limit what we do with it, object to our use of it, ask for it in a portable form, and withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
Email info@nextmotiontech.co.uk and we will answer within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you raised it with us first, and we will take it seriously.
Children
This site is written for clubs, players and partners and is not aimed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has sent us their details, email us and we will delete them.
Changes to this notice
If we change how the site handles personal data we will update this page and change the date at the top. Nothing on this site is designed to collect more than it says here.
